17-year stable operation has created good reputation and customer loyalty

The new-built Hefei No.3 Water Plant, with the capacity of 400,000 cubic meters / day, is currently the largest water plant with one-time construction in Anhui Province. It is a benchmarking water supply treatment project with high standard and won the highest-level Hefei Municipal Engineering Quality Award "Luzhou Cup" in 2019.

New Hefei No.3 Water Plant is located in Wangdunying Village on the east side of Silihe Road, Luyang District, covering an area of about 180 mu. That is a major construction project in Hefei City including a new water purification plant and matched water transmission and distribution network. The project will be completed and accepted at the end of 2018. It effectively alleviates the water supply pressure in the western area of Hefei. After the new No.3 Water Plant was put into use, the daily water supply capacity of Hefei reaches 2.1 million cubic meters per day, which greatly optimizes the allocation of water resources, promotes the interconnection of the water supply network, and improves water supply scale and service guarantee capacity. At the same time, it provides strong support for the construction of "He'an Passenger Dedicated Line" (the He'an Passenger Dedicated Line starts from New Hefei West Station, passes through Feixi, Shucheng, Lujiang, Tongcheng, Huaining and other cities and counties, and finally ends at Xin'an Qingxi Station) .

AVK has been serving Hefei's new and old No.3 Water Plants for nearly 20 years.

The old plant of Hefei No. 3 Water Plant has been using AVK valves since 2001. AVK’s valves have been in normal operation for 17 years since they were put into use until the plant relocation. Therefore, in the new No.3 Water Plant relocation project, the end user still selected AVK series products in the key process sections, including butterfly valve (DN150-DN2000), resilient seated gate valve (DN100-DN600), Penstock (700*700-2000*2000), especially AVK covers more than 90% of the valves installed in the plant.
