The autumn breeze is refreshing, and the sweet osmanthus is fragrant. On this beautiful day, AVK ushered in the 2020 team building activity which covered a panoramic view of the beautiful southwest and the endless charm of nature. 21-09-2020
As the first stop on the trip, Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong scenic area is a typical karst landscape with an altitude of about 2,000-4,000 meters above sea level. Due to the strong neotectonics activity, a large number of cracks and fractures are produced in the rocks, increasing the water permeability of the rocks; meanwhile, there is abundant precipitation in the valley, and the differential elevation of the plateau edge forms a great topographic contrast, which is conducive to the cyclic movement of karst water and makes the karst effect continuous. Under the sunlight, the lake presents blue-green waves, and only when you are in this beautiful scenery can you really feel the "paradise on earth".
When you come to Sichuan, how can you miss the magnificent Dujiangyan irrigation project? It is a great water conservancy project built by Li Bing in 236 B.C. that still plays a huge role today. The main project of Dujiangyan consists of three parts: Yuzui water diversion, Feishayan spillway and Baopingkou water inlet. Yuzui water diversion, named because it resembles the mouth of a fish, mainly plays the role of water diversion; the Feishayan spillway takes advantage of the topography of the river bend to throw out the river sand and stones washed down from the mountains during the abundant water period to avoid silting up the river channel; Baopingkou water inlet is the inlet for the river water to enter the fertile fields of a thousand miles, named because it resembles the mouth of a bottle.
Nowadays, after more than two thousand years, the Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project still plays a huge role in flood control, irrigation, etc., and makes the Chengdu Plain which is often drought and flood becoming to a rich land.
