Today, more than 60% of the Chinese population lives in urban areas – a trend that will only continue to grow in future. With more and more people expanding urban living spaces, tomorrow’s water infrastructures are bound to face major challenges: Demands on the distribution of clean water, safe wastewater disposal and the efficient use of limited water resources will steadily rise.
The reason we are actively pursuing various water security measures today is to secure a sustainable and better future. At AVK China, we strive to be an active partner in shaping our country’s water agenda. Thereby, AVK plays an important role in achieving SDG 6, which is related to clean water and sanitation and SDG 9, which is related to industry, innovation and infrastructure.
AVK also contributes to several other SDGs including SDG 12, which is related to responsible consumption and production, SDG 13, which is related to climate action.
At AVK China, we support our customers across the value chain. From project scoping to system planning to regular maintenance of new valve solution, we help refurbish existing solution and design new city infrastructure, water reservoirs water dams.
